Here, you go.Job Summary:The OCSD Global Quality Leader is a key role on the division leadership team that reports directly to the Division Vice President/General Manager with dotted line reporting to the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Compliance for the Health Care Business. This position is responsible for driving a quality mindset throughout the division and broader 3M Health Care Business.This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Leading Division product quality assurance activities in the areas of product development, commercialization and change management.Developing product quality assurance strategies to enhance patient safety, design understanding and manufacturing consistency and control.Ensuring customer facing activities associated with new product qualification and commercialized product feedback are conducted in a manner that supports the quality brand image of solutions, products and services provided by the Division and ensures patient safety.Ensuring product portfolio maintains applicable product quality standards given internal product changes and external standard development and implementation.Leading the Quality functions at plant sites falling under Division responsibility. This includes teams located in Irvine, CA, and Seefeld, Germany.Serving as the Division Management Representative for Quality Management.Ensuring the Division Quality Operations operate within the Heath Care Quality Management System framework.The job objectives must be accomplished through adept utilization of the 3M matrix.Other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:Possess a Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionMinimum of five (5) years combined Quality Engineering, Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis and/or Design Control experience within in a private, public, government or military environmentMinimum of three (3) years management experience in a health care regulated business environment in a private, public, government or military environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institutionCertifications in quality engineering, quality auditing or quality management (ASQ certification CQE, CQA, CQM).Competent in quality management systems, knowledge and application of risk management strategies throughout product life cycle, manufacturing operations, communicating with regulators and government agenciesStrong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Experience in Dental, Orthodontia or Medical marketsDivision Operating Committee experiencePrevious experience leading a large, dispersed teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven track record of producing resultsStrong interpersonal skills.Location: Maplewood, MNTravel: May include up to 25% domestic and internationalRelocation: Is authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).VEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran ReferralsEqual Opportunity Employer minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
