Job Description:

The Office of Student Activities & Leadership Development at Siena College is searching for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person to serve as the Program Coordinator in the office. Reporting to the Director of Student Activities and Leadership Development, the Program Coordinator is the office administrative assistant and co-adviser of various organizations.

Specific areas of responsibility and essential duties include: assist with Sarazen Student Union activities, events and programs, i.e.: Summer Information Days, New Student Orientation, Family Weekend, Spring Festival (weekend and evening hours required); Student Leadership & Involvement awards; Siena Night Life - Saturday late night programming. This position will co-Advise the Commuter Student Association and Yearbook, all while promoting a safe, healthy and respectful living and learning community that embraces diversity and inclusion and celebrates Siena College's Franciscan and Catholic identity.


Bachelor's degree preferred, one to three years of demonstrated leadership and experience in student activities or similar relevant field; demonstrated ability to work with broad segments of a college community; the ability to be an effective team member who can foster strong relationships with students and staff; must be available and flexible to work evenings and weekends; strong written, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment. A background screening will be required.
