ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide project scheduling support for IMTG PMO projects:

  • Work with the Client project managers to prepare work breakdown structures.

  • Obtain time line for work packages.

  • Enter work packages into the Clarity and MS Project scheduling tools.

  • Develop detailed baseline schedules.

  • Attend the project meetings to ensure tasks completion.

  • Support multiple PMs by performing project schedule updates.

  • Maintain & update PMO project schedules weekly and master schedule monthly.

  • Report on late milestones and risk/issues/scope change impacts to schedule for

  • resource management.

  • Develop, update, and report on PMO portfolio master schedule and manage interface points between projects.

  • Enter project schedules into Clarity as requested by the IT PMO.

  • Plan contingency buffer and perform schedule forecasts to minimize the effects

  • of task delays.

  • Perform critical path monitoring and analysis.

  • Assist PMO with reviewing project plans.

  • Work on master project schedule.

  • Follow best practices in project management outlined by industry standards such as the Project Management Institute Book of Knowledge.

  • Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).

  • Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

  • Five years of experience in project & portfolio scheduling using Microsoft Project.

  • PMP Certification is desired.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Pass background checks.

  • 100% on-site work.

  • 6-month period, with possible renewal.

  • Additional expenses such as parking are not included as a condition of employment

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.

  • U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.

  • Travel may be required.

  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion.

  • Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.

  • Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
