Changes are being made to the Kingfisher operating model driven by the SAP Easier, Wholesale and Unified Offer programmes.

Offer & Supply Chain (OSC) has been created as a Group organisation to design, source, plan and supply a unified, unique and leading range of products to meet the needs of customers across all Operating Companies (OpCos).

Working within the Local Master Data team you will be responsible for managing the team mailbox, ensuring all work is logged and supporting the Market teams with regular communication about their requests. You will also support with daily queries and tasks to ensure they are carried out within the team. You will also be accountable for SAP and legacy product data for Kingfisher. You will actively acquire, input, maintain and cleanse this data ensuring it’s accurate, delivered to brief and to deadline.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Management of the Product Data mailbox, including the housekeeping maintenance and responding to all submissions and queries in a timely manner

  • Effective management and challenge of urgent requests

  • Management of the Product Data log ensuring it is kept complete and accurate and support with KPI data for weekly reporting

  • Ensuring all submissions contain correct format and templates required for the request to be completed

  • Facilitating of inbound calls, with management to the right advisor

  • Facilitate the flow of information relating to product set up and maintenance between the OSC Central Data team and the local OpCo Data team.

  • Have a good understanding of the MasterData and Processes in order to make effective decisions

  • Action regular housekeeping to ensure data is valid and at its correct lifecycle stage

  • Provide local MasterData reports as required by the business.

  • Establish yourself as a SAP MasterData expert, be the first port of call of all SAP product queries. Take an active role in promoting best practice product data management across all OpCos

  • Look for continuous improvement in the quality of product data; ensuring effective processes are in place to capture customer and colleague feedback and act upon it accordingly

  • Ensure a relentless focus on the customer

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)

  • An exceptional attention to detail

  • Effective planner and able to manage and prioritise workload

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to juggle multiple projects

  • Experience working within a data driven environment focusing on a product data/content

  • A working knowledge of SAP preferable (but not essential as full training will be provided)

  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and build strong working relationships with stakeholders and functions
