Posting Job Description:

As Contracts Administrator you will work as part of an international legal operations team to support contract and rights management for licensing and merchandising as well as programming. You will primarily support EMEA but also provide support for the other international regions. The role will be responsible for administering contracts from receipt of deal terms, inputting relevant contract information, liaising with Sales, Finance and Legal personnel, generating draft contracts for legal review, following up on contract execution, running searches and reporting.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working collaboratively with team members across International and the US to support efficient and timely entry and progression of contracts.
  • Reviewing deal terms to ensure they are accurate and complete.
  • Inputting deal terms into the applicable system (also used for invoicing and royalty reporting).
  • Providing routine monthly status reports, running ad hoc searches and compiling reports.
  • Liaising with the Sales teams, Finance and Legal.
  • Providing back-up training for colleagues on contracts administration related processes, procedures and requirements.

What we’re looking for:

Essential Criteria:

  • Some relevant work experience in the media industry or a reputable legal, financial and/or international environment.
  • Experience with database entry (ideally linked to licensing and merchandising, contract and/or rights management).
  • Experience with administrative procedures and contract management.
  • Attention to detail to support execution of work with a high level of accuracy.
  • A full working knowledge of Word and Excel, and good typing skills.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills. Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience with License Maestro.

  • Logical thinking process to enter contracts into the relevant system.
  • Comfortable working with systems and databases, generating reports and assisting with troubleshooting issues.
  • An ability to function effectively under pressure in a busy commercial environment.
  • A mature and professional approach.
  • An ability to work independently as well as a part of a small international team.
  • Logical thinking process to enter contracts into the relevant system.
  • A working knowledge of either French, Italian or Spanish.
