The Theory Group in the Physics Division at Argonne National Laboratory has a broad-ranging program in modern hadron and nuclear physics. The Group's research places strong emphasis on comparison with data from existing facilities, e.g. ATLAS at Argonne, FermiLab, JLab, NSCL, TRIUMF and RHIC; and on planning for and anticipating the output of future facilities; such as FRIB and an EIC. The Group also has access to extensive National and Laboratory computational resources.

The Group is now seeking exceptional candidates for two postdoctoral positions that, contingent upon funding, would begin in Fall 2018. We expect that one position will be in computational nuclear structure and reactions, supported by our SciDAC-4 grant.
