We invite you to consider a Postdoctoral Appointee position with us. In this role, you will participate asa collaborativemember of a multidisciplinary group of professional staff engaged in the analysis of economic, environmental, social, and natural resource implications of complex adaptive systems that are important to healthcare, infectious diseases, precision medicine, land use, climate change, urban sustainability, and national security. In your research, you will:

  • Apply systems science, simulation, and advanced computational methods to develop sophisticated modelsof complex systemswith the objective to generate results that inform policy, investment, and deployment decisions.
  • Develop models and conduct analytic studies in domain areas mentioned above,
  • Innovate in the development and application of agent-based and other complex systems models that advance understandingof complex systems
  • Provide practical solutions to important problems.

We expect you to have considerable knowledge and skills in:

  • Ph.D. with 0-3 years experience.
  • Agent-based modeling, computational epidemiology, and land use/climate change modeling.
  • Computational modeling, statistics, and data analytics.
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Oral and written communication.
  • Relating to sponsors, managers, and other professionals
