Zappos.com Senior Manager, Loyalty Marketing in Las Vegas, Nevada

The Variable Marketing team is looking to hire an analytically-geared Senior Manager of Loyalty Marketing. The Senior Manager of Loyalty Marketing will help define and develop the Loyalty Marketing Team’s strategy and roadmap as it pertains to company objectives and goals. This person will help define and manage parts of the Zappos customer journey, the Zappos Rewards program, and other aspects of our retention/reactivation efforts.

Our ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with experience managing large-scale loyalty marketing programs. This role has responsibility for both strategy and execution, and as such, the successful candidate will be hands on, innovative, and have a passion for loyalty marketing.


What you’ll be doing:*

  • Drive the strategy and execution of loyalty program to build customer loyalty and increase lifetime value by engaging customers with personalized, targeted, and relevant marketing communications.

  • Oversee retention marketing mix to maintain good standing customer base through onboarding and re-engagement efforts (cross-sell, replenishment, etc.).

  • Oversee reactivation campaigns to cost-effectively reactivate high-value at risk and lost customers.

  • Continually evaluate/evolve the value props and communication strategy for Zappos Rewards to drive customer lifetime value.

  • Work with appropriate marketing channels (e.g. email, social, push notifications, direct mail) to support loyalty marketing initiatives.

  • Define and report on appropriate success metrics for loyalty initiatives.


What you’ll bring to the table:*

  • 8+ years of experience working in loyalty/retention marketing and/or ecommerce.

  • Deep understanding of retention marketing strategies, channels, and measurement.

  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to focus sharply on driving incremental value.

  • Proven ability to build effective marketing campaigns, including creative development.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high tolerance for ambiguity.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
