Aerotek Engineering Technician in Kohler, Wisconsin
Full-time engines testing job opportunity in a lab setting. Do not need to have your own tools!
You will be setting up testing for engines, evaluating performance, troubleshooting and making adjustments, replacing parts, then documenting results.
You will connect the engines to the testing equipment and perform testing. Troubleshooting is key in this area as they will be responsible for identifying the source of any systems failure. Will be standing majority of the day at the testing tables. Very clean environment and will be doubling the size in the next 6 months. They are in process of bringing state of the art technology to the lab.
The engines lab is a very clean and high technology area, it can be very noisy at times when all tests are running. There are about 5 other technicians on 2nd shift that this person will be working with.
- 1 year of experience working hands on in a engine/car related environment
-Computer Skills (Excel/Word)
-Mechanical Aptitude (verified via references)
1 years of electrical or instrumentation based experience
Strong troubleshooting skills (verified via references)
Associate's Degree in Related Field (Automation, Electro-Mechanical, Automotive, Engine Research Development, etc.)
3 years experience testing engines or mechanical systems
