At Engineered Polymer Products in Jacksonville, FL, we strive to be the best by putting our employees at the forefront. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various HR functions such as talent acquisition, talent development, employee relations, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and more. You will serve as a coach and mentor for both leaders and employees and report to the HR Manager. As we open a new site in the local area and double in size over the course of the next two years, you will be responsible for partnering with leadership to acquire and develop talent while promoting a positive, engaging culture on a day to day basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for 120 employees at a manufacturing facility in partnership with HR Manager

  • Partner with leadership to acquire and develop talent for our new site that will have 110 employees

  • Live and lead a positive culture, founded on mutual trust & respect.

  • Organize and lead training for all employees on our culture and what it means to us.

  • Implement strategic short and long term HR initiatives, in partnership with senior HR and local leadership, to drive business results.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with management and employees to provide advice and counsel to both on employee-related and organizational matters, serving as an employee advocate and as a coach to employees and leaders.

  • Lead all key HR processes including staffing, leadership development, compensation, talent development, performance management, and employee relations.

  • Develop and execute plans for talent acquisition, development and succession planning for site.

  • Drive human resource compliance and ensure standardization and consistency of application of HR and Company practices and policies.

  • Direct employee programs designed to promote employee communications, optimize organizational effectiveness and increase employee engagement.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment OR

  • 2+ years of experience coupled with a Master’s degree in HR or related field

  • Willing and able to travel as needed, approximately 15%

  • Willing to relocate to Jacksonville, FL area; relocation and interview expense reimbursement may be available

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PHR or SPHR Certification •Experience in Continuous Improvement and leading Lean/Six Sigma Events

  • Desire for future leadership positions of increasing responsibility and the ability to relocate with geographic flexibility

  • Demonstrated accomplishments operating in a fluid, fast-paced environment

  • Must be comfortable in both an office and manufacturing floor environments

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field required

  • Master’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
