Tribune Company Digital Account Executive in Hartford, Connecticut

This person will be responsible for the sale and maintenance of digital advertising for our website as well as the various other digital solutions we offer. The position requires an energetic and extroverted individual that can embrace change and deal with rapidly changing business environments. The Integrated Marketing Executive must be comfortable and knowledgeable in both the digital realm as well as our multiple television and HOPE opportunities.

  • Prospect new business

  • Work on developing a long list of potential new advertisers in order to help exceed overall digital revenue budgets

  • Act as lead gen for the AE’s – monitoring Media Monitors and other sources for potential market opportunity

  • Set up appointments with potential new station advertisers for sponsorships that fit and see sale through to fruition

  • Assist AE’s on four legged calls as needed when pitching digital solutions

  • Integrated solutions, custom proposals, cross media sponsorships

  • Act as digital integration specialist

  • Integrated Solutions – build out integrated solutions utilizing the best digital assets in conjunction with television, news, promotions and social platforms

  • Coordinate with LSM on upcoming television initiatives in order to align the best digital assets with corresponding programming.

  • Meet weekly with the web team in News to correspond News initiatives with integrated sales solutions

  • Accountable for an integrated sales budget – sponsorships, events, cross platform solutions

  • Budget will be based on total digital dollars allocated to integrated solutions worked in tandem with the AE’s

  • Run all integrated packages that include News components through Liz and the News team for approval

  • Work hand in hand with DSM, LSM, and CMM on creating new seasonal opportunities for the station
