Responsible to assist clinics to obtain prescription refills, complete FMLA/Disability paperwork and contact patients with physician approved results. Will provide prompt response to telephone inquiries, reports and emails from clinic staff members. The Triage Specialist will be responsible for remote assistance with all aspects of non-symptom related triage. The Triage Specialist will contact patients by phone, email and text. Communicate with other departments as necessary to obtain and give patient information. Maintain accuracy at all times. Follow HIPPA guidelines. All Care Management Specialists are expected to assist with daily departmental and operational tasks including but not limited to handling mail, receiving phone calls and transferring phone calls.


High School Diploma or GED required

One (1) year of experience in the healthcare field or clinic setting with knowledge of oncology preferred (medical administrative assistant experience preferred)

Procedure entry with experience in insurance and medical terminology strongly preferred

Attention to detail, excellent math and deduction skills, data entry and knowledge of Excel/Word/Outlook

Ability to work independently

Strong customer service skills (internal and external customers)
