Summary:

  • The System Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Perform system installs, troubleshooting, manages accounts and administration of polices and recommends procurements for the specific project

  • Monitor information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.

  • Provide reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems.

  • Provide technical documentation and mission support within the greater C5I environment.

  • Schedule installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.

  • Plan, coordinate, and document the use of revised/updated procedures, processes, and methods for the operations and maintenance of the SYSMAN infrastructure.

  • Required to complete ongoing training to sustain regulatory guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline

  • 3 years of experience as a system administrator.

  • DoD 8570.01 Required Certs, Security CE (or equivalent), Computing Environment Certification, Windows, Linux (CENTOS), Windows Server 2012, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), required

  • IAT II Certification required

  • Top Secret clearance required with ability to obtain SCI clearance

  • Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Ability to work shift work.

  • Ability to obtain SCI clearance

  • Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques.
