Summary:

  • The Information Assurance Administrator will ensure all EAD technical information systems development, configuration, and maintenance meet all applicable IA standards while supporting EAD experiments and efforts

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Provide local Information Assurance (IA) and security support for internal and external Experiments and Analysis Directorate (EAD) events

  • Provide input to all network and Intelligence Battle Lab related security requirements based on policy, guidance and regulations from DOD, DA, and ICOE

  • Develop, maintain, review, and submit all IA technical documentation required to support accreditation and maintenance efforts for the EAD networks

  • Conduct regular information assurance scans on all IA systems and provide results to the government within three (3) days of execution

  • Provide recommendations to the government on the best practices and courses of action to achieve mission requirements in accordance with policy directives.

  • Complete ongoing training to sustain regulatory guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • 3 years of current experience within the last 5 years of working IA actions

  • Information Assurance (IA) Training Level II

  • Top Secret clearance required with ability to obtain SCI clearance.

  • Ability to work shift work.

  • Ability to obtain SCI clearance

  • Ability to handle controversial situations with tact and diplomacy.

  • Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques.

  • Proficient in DA IA databases and tools required to conform to DOD/DA information Assurance policy
