Position Description

Primary Purpose: To provide support to the terminal operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Enter information into various computer programs. •Monitor programs •General clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, faxing, US mail, FedEx shipments, answering phones •Reconcile terminal inventories. •Manage inventory of petroleum products, order as necessary •Assist in planning and maintaining manager schedule and the team. •Plan events and coordinate for meetings and functions. •Manage 3rd party driver training for orientation and recertification requirements •Manage and provide employee and contractor training requirements •Manage general office issues and maintain business supplies for the operation •Be a safety leader. Be the team SQE leader •Track critical deadlines and follow up on specific issues on behalf of team •Develop working knowledge of appropriate policies, practices and procedures •Write and/or assist in writing site specific procedures •Write and/or assist in writing LOTO (lock out, tag out) procedures •Assist with P/L statements, forecasting spend, and budgeting. •Assist with minor housekeeping duties in and around the terminal office •Perform other duties as trained and assigned •Manage accounts payables •Travel to obtain training as required •Monitor data for inconsistencies and errors. •Adhere to all Kinder Morgan policies and procedures •Understand and assist with emergency response equipment as necessary •Calculate payroll and submit to Manager for approval •Manage and update trailer certifications in TMS •Complete submit and file monthly Federal Reports •Interact with customers, generate required reports, requests and audits

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements: Education: •Must have a High School diploma or equivalent Experience: •1 - 3 years’ experience working with a computerized equipment and/or experience entering data •Knowledge of office terminology and equipment . Business mathematics •Ability to solve practical problems •Excellent organizational skills and able to multi-task •Strong communication skills, both oral/written •Ability to interpret written and oral instructions Competencies: •Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) •Must be able to learn and use locations specific software applications •Must be able to communicate, read, comprehend and interpret written and oral communications in English •Must demonstrate basic math skills with the ability to perform basic math computations •Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail •Must have good organizational skills •Must be able to work EOM business unit financial closes •Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines •Must be able to interpret directions and/or instructions •Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail •Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be a team player •Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. •Must be able to keep detailed records and to manipulate data accurately •Must be proficient in the use of computer software in a Windows environment •Successful completion of company drug screen and background check upon job offer as well as post-accident drug and alcohol screenings Physical Demands: •Must be able to lift / carry up to 30 lbs. •Must be able to sit / stand for extended periods of time •Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard. Working Conditions: •Must be able to work extended hours / days / overtime as needed. •Must be available for one offs, after hour call outs •Must be able to wear PPE during any outdoor time (FRC clothing, safety toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hat)
