Job Description: Workday Security Functional lead role will provide design and execution guidance and knowledge to simplify the security matrix across UTC BU’s and Functions. This role will also be responsible for establishing WD adoption and governance for new capabilities enablement in support of various stakeholder and BU groups.

·Core Competencies/Experiences:

·Design and implement requirements in Workday Security solution

·Conduct working sessions with HR Functions to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements

·Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions

·Demonstrate configurations through the use of prototyping for the emerging WD modules and capabilities like WD Cloud, Worksheets, Media Cloud

·Manage and maintain global Workday Security implementation across UTC which includes;

oCore HR,

o Performance

oRecruiting,

oAdvanced Compensation,

oSOX audits,

oBenefits,

oPayroll

Qualification:

· Advise HR team on industry standards for WD Security process areas in order to provide suggestions to achieve streamlined processes

· Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements

· Work in an agile environment with global implementation and operations teams

· Participate in update training and other events that help share knowledge and skills with other team members

· Required Technical and Professional Expertise

o Ability to run audit reports to manage security gaps and apply adjustments quickly to avoid user access and role execution issues

o Existing and up to date Workday Security config knowledge and hands on experience

o Minimum 3 years of prior experience implementing Workday Security for a large global company

o Successfully completed at least 2 WD modules implementation as a Security Lead/Manager

o Thrive in a diverse, fast paced, global environment

o Basic knowledge of AGILE methodology and practices

o Think analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problems

o Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands

o Some travel required, approximately 25%.

· Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with others

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements to stakeholders, functional COE teams and WD CSM/Account Executives

Education: 4 year College Degree and/or 12+ years of experience meeting above competencies | 3+ year deploying Workday, 3+ years in a lead role, management role or in a role coaching others
