Applied Memetics LLC Logistics Analyst, Junior in Fairfax, Virginia

Applied Memetics LLC (AM LLC) is seeking an Junior Logistics Analyst to provide on-site technical support to the Veterans Affairs (VA) administration. The successful candidate will support the Office of Information Technology (OI&T) to identify and remediate existing and future vulnerabilities.

A Junior Logistics Analyst must be able to gather, compile, and analyze procurement, maintenance, distribution, and replacement materiel and personnel logistics data; identify trends, errors, and missing data. Must be able to create alternate depictions of data to identify and highlight issues; summarize findings in summary reports. The Junior Logistics Analyst will report to the more Senior Logistics Analysis.

The Continuous Readiness in Information Security Protection (CRISP) program began as a VA-wide initiative launched in March 2012 to address MWs by concentrating on:

-Managing appropriate access control for users and reducing out-dated personnel clearances

-Testing contingency plans for data breaches

-Providing information security training for users, contractors, volunteers

-Developing initial baseline configurations

-Improving data-center web application security

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, mathematics, business administration

  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate efforts with key government and non-government stakeholders

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Demonstrates strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Must work well within a time sensitive environment

    Experience working in Federal Government environments is preferred.
