Raytheon Space & Airborne Systems - Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) EW Electronic Protect Department is seeking talented and collaborative technical candidates to join the Multi-Function EW Systems Section to help delivers emerging and disruptive solutions to ensure warfighter advantage. The selected candidate will be given opportunities to engage in a variety of cutting edge and innovative technology development across the Advanced Concepts & Technology (ACT) business area. Responsibilities Include: Modeling and Simulation of advanced adaptive threat radars including propagation models, flight path, and responses to jammer actions Development of closed loop testbed, test cases and generation of data based on the test cases using the testbed for the evaluation of machine learning algorithms Development of user interfaces in the testbed to integrate and display machine learning algorithms results Support algorithm developers, support standing HW testbed with similar capabilities as that of the M&S testbed Support analysis of results of algorithms Support threat working group Required Skills: Minimum 6 years of related engineering experience Strong background and experience with Modeling and Simulation Deep understanding of Radar Systems - modes of operation and processing capabilities Background in Electronic Warfare (ES,EA, or EP) Strong software development in object oriented MATLAB Must be a U.S. Citizen with Active (or active within past 24 months) DoD Secret Clearance Desired Skills: Experience in generation adaptive Jammer techniques against adaptive radar systems Experience addressing complex technical and operational issues Strong background in Airborne Systems, Radar Signal Processing and Radar/Jammer Physics. Software Development in C/C++ and Java Some RF HW (both radar and jammer) experience Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics discipline. Desired Education: Master’s / PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics discipline U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
