Philips Business IT Officer in Eindhoven, Netherlands


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Obtain a 1 year fixed term contract to learn and grow as a professional within the corporate IT domain.

You are responsible for

the realization of business processes so you will

  • Specify project details, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used.

  • Support in controlling the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value

  • Take corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.

  • Provide support to project managers and portfolio managers regarding project management methodology and tooling.

  • Integrate disparate data sources to generate regularly-scheduled and ad-hoc reporting.

  • Organize project lifecycle reviews and complete resulting updates in project tooling

  • Pursue and address issues with methodology compliance and data quality.

  • Support Agile/Scrum tooling and reporting

  • As part of the IT Governance (office of the CIO) you’ll drive improvement initiatives throughout the IT organization, support performance monitoring, support preparing of reporting on Executive level.

  • Have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the fields of economics, IT, Business information technology.

  • You have from 0 to 2 years of work experience following your graduation

  • Have project management skills

  • Have corporate experience and are used to interact with multiple stakeholders

  • Are driven by operational excellence and have an eye for detail

  • Have international experience or an international mindset and the ability to use internal and external resources to maximize the value for the company and its customers;

  • Speak and write fluent English.
