We have a rare opportunity for a talented Sr. Administrative Coordinator to be based in our East Hartford, CT group.

We are seeking a high energy, self-starter with strong organizational skills to join our Manufacturing Engineering team as the Senior Administrative Coordinator. In this role, you will primarily act as the assistant of the VP of Manufacturing Engineering. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative tasks requiring some decision-making and problem solving with moderate direction on behalf of the leadership team. The role requires you to effectively communicate directly with managers, staff and other functional leaders within the business. You also should be able to handle/safeguard confidential information and utilize discretion in daily activities. Responsibilities will focus on areas of office and administrative support including but not limited to:

  • Maintaining and coordinating schedules for meetings, interviews, and conferences as well as making adjustments based on constantly changing priorities and scheduling conflicts

  • Scheduling domestic/international travel arrangements, completing detailed meeting and travel itineraries and monitoring and completing expense reports in a timely manner

  • Reviewing and prioritizing mail, highlighting important information and follow-up and respond to correspondence as appropriate

  • Researching, drafting and preparing memos, reports, presentations, and correspondence for internal and external customers

  • Conducting basic data analysis, such as consolidating and reviewing information from multiple data sources

  • Collaborating with all levels of the organization in a professional and effective manner

  • Supporting business needs such as ordering office supplies, being involved in office moves, and other requests as appropriate

  • Acting as point of contact for conference room assistance

  • Other administrative tasks, as delegated and requested.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training/or equivalent

  • Minimum of 6+ years administrative support experience; including executive-level experience

  • 3+ years of experience using the Microsoft suite of tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)

  • US Citizenship required due to government contract

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree

  • Self-motivated and have the ability to exercise initiative and work independently

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Aptitude to handle confidential information, collaborate in a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments successfully

  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through capabilities

  • Team oriented perspective, able to work well and contribute with the team

  • Sense of urgency, good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

  • Strong interpersonal and teaming skills, flexibility and adaptability
