Department Overview

Dublin Asset Servicing is responsible for the accurate and timely processing a range of different corporate event types across multiple markets. The department interfaces directly with the local market entities including depositary, counterparts and regulators as well as other Citi lines of business, internal and external clients. The Citi Asset Servicing department is a varied, fast paced, challenging and enjoyable place to work which has something for everyone. Team/Position Overview

The Direct Custody Tax Departments purpose is to ensure that all of their tax Service Clients receive the most advantageous tax rates based upon their domicile, entity type and the current custody and Issuer Tax product offering.

Direct Custody refers to where the assets are held, in this scenario these are all Clients of relevant EMEA and CEEMEA Citi branches. The Tax processing for these clients is insourced to the team in Dublin from that relevant branch.

This role is a processing role in the highly Technical German tax market.

Key Responsibilities:

·Working on the Portuguese Market

·Development of best practice internal controls

·Build and maintain strong relationships with a varierty of high profile DC Clients.

·Support for all tax related systems enahancements and implementations.

·Ensure the team is informed of all relevant tax changes and bespoke services.

·Escalation of issues to the Team Leader


Experience and Skills:

· Excellent interpersonal skills – both written and verbal

· Able to develop good working relationships with colleagues and Senior Managers.

· High level of attention for detail.

· Good organizational skills, ability to work under pressure.

· Ability to work in and understand ambiguous tax markets.

· Relevant language skills is an advantage.
