Position Summary:

Working with the Multimedia Standards & Design team, an experienced Digital Media Specialist will ensure quality and consistency of the digital media pieces throughout our courses that we deliver to over 50,000 K-12 students annually.

  • Search stock repositories for images, audio, and video to include in multimedia assets such as After Effects videos, graphic callouts, Flipbooks, podcasts to enhance production values

  • Follow storyboards to create templated multimedia assets in a proprietary rapid-authoring tool

  • Work with script writers and instructional designers to develop creative approaches to a variety of media.

  • Search stock repositories to identify and tag potential new assets for production

  • Maintain digital media database

  • Update database throughout course builds to ensure accuracy of links and locations

  • Generate .srt files for media assets with audio

  • Write text versions of multimedia digital assets

  • When needed, obtain usage permissions for digital assets through our Legal team


  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years multimedia production experience

  • Strong and demonstrated working knowledge with design files/software, digital database management, and multimedia content delivery preferred

  • Demonstrated interest in generating a creative vision for media products for children.

  • Ability to interact well with a variety of corporate functional disciplines including senior management

  • Experience designing and developing digital assets

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills

  • Strong process design, analytical, and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and complex organization with varied and multiple stakeholders

  • Strong work ethic and ability to promote positive work atmosphere
