Resolution Media is experiencing rapid growth and seeking a talented SEO/Content Solutions Specialist on our growing Content Solutions/Natural Search team. The Content Solutions team has many different opportunities to work with emerging media like mobile, video, social media and online PR alongside our core area of expertise in Natural Search Solutions.

Reporting to a Client Strategy Director and a Content Solutions Supervisor, this position will be responsible for researching and implementing innovative SEO/Content projects for large Fortune 100 companies. The Content Solutions Specialist is responsible for research and optimizations aspects of the optimization process. This person will work closely with the overall Content Solutions/SEO team and Account teams to identify obstacles to optimal natural ranking on the client’s site and digital assets, deliver recommendations to remove these obstacles, and then work with the client and the SEO team to properly optimize the client’s digital assets. Specifically, this Specialist will be analyzing client sites and assets for technical issues and opportunities, conducting extensive consumer keyword and content research, and implementing multiple page-level optimizations per client’s business needs.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement SEO campaigns, strategies and initiatives

  • Assist client teams in developing SEO strategies and programs that meet client business goals

  • Conduct Natural Search Research

  • Create client-bound research and execution documents

  • Research and implement linking strategies

  • Create monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports per client’s business specs

  • Conduct and implement multiple page-level optimizations per client’s business needs

  • Identify SEO opportunities on Web sites of Fortune 100 companies

  • Collaborating with client’s technical group in order to implement proposed recommendations

  • Work with cross functional departments to develop and track all details of SEO initiatives

  • Maintaining expertise on search engine news and trends

Qualifications:

  • 2+years of tactical and strategic experience in SEO (search engine optimization) either in-house or agency environments

  • Possess a BA/BS in Marketing, English, Journalism or related discipline

  • Have a passion for connecting queries to content, and a commitment to making sure the client’s relevant content is found by those who are looking for it

  • Have experience as a SEO copywriter with an understanding of how to write for both users and search engines at once

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Have a working knowledge of leading Web Analytics and SEO tools

  • Have a proven record of page placement and website optimization

  • Enjoy problem solving and have the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes

  • Have strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating with other department

  • Ideally have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script and Flash

  • Be fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc
