Milliman Consulting Actuary - FSA in Chicago, Illinois

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in individual life insurance, meeting the following requirements:

  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)

  • Five or more years of actuarial experience

  • Experience with actuarial software applications (MG-ALFA is preferable)

The candidate should also demonstrate the following through previous working experience:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, prioritizing and meeting deadlines

  • Creative problem solver

The candidate would potentially be involved a wide variety of assignments, including pricing, modelling, mergers & acquisitions, asset liability management, cash flow testing, statutory, tax, and GAAP valuation.
