UTC Aerospace Systems [UTAS] is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager at its headquarters in Charlotte, NC joining a team that is responsible for leading the monthly, annual and 5-year financial planning/reporting activities for the division. The candidate will report to the Director of FP&A and will lead the P&L segment of the group. She/he will have the opportunity to interact with all levels of the organization including the UTAS senior leadership team. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of FP&A activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the consolidation and analysis of the monthly financial close and forecast

  • Oversee the UTAS earnings release process for the financial material, Q&A, and webcast material

  • Lead the development of Monthly and Quarterly Sr. Leadership presentations for UTAS including Profit Assurance, Finance Council, President's Council, OMM & Trimester

  • Coordinate/drive the annual financial plan and 5- year financial planning process

  • UTC restructuring reporting

  • Central budget and headcount tracking/reporting

  • Lead a team of five analysts

  • Drive best-in-class processes

  • Special projects as required

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of related experience

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Skill to manage multiple and varied tasks

  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HFM, SAP and Business Warehouse preferred

  • ACE associate preferred (UTC/UTC Aerospace Systems specific certification)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field of study required

  • Master's degree, CPA or CMA a plus
