HIRING FOR MULTIPLE AEROSPACE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING POSITIONS - IMMEDIATE START!

EngineerS familiar with one or more of the following aerospace design and documentation processes: requirements traceability, failure mode analysis using fishbone technique, aerospace hardware qualification documentation, verification plans, and hazard analysis reports.

If not a degreed engineer, we are also looking for highly proficient users of TeamCenter to manage engineering data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Systems Engineering Role:

  • Complete integrated launch vehicle engineering tasks to support design review completion using knowledge of aerospace design engineering processes and documentation

  • Follow ULA standard processes to document design solutions, analyze risk, and solve problems. Complete these tasks if possible with limited input for design engineer review. Processes include but are not limited to:

  • Requirements traceability – understand flowdown of system level requirements down through lower level specifications. Be able to identify which launch vehicle systems are affected by top level requirements, and identify gaps where requirements should be added.

  • Fishbone failure mode analysis – Complete first draft of fishbone failure mode analysis of a component or system for design engineering review.

  • QTRS and Test Like You Fly – complete documentation detailing the qualification analysis and testing for launch vehicle components

  • Verification planning – complete documentation detailing how requirements will be met and link verification plans to those requirements

  • Hazard Analysis Reports – complete Range Safety documentation per AFSPCMAN 91-710.

  • Coordinate and integrate activities with other engineering disciplines.

  • Organize gate reviews to document engineering decisions.

  • Work at various levels on the development team, as needed, across multiple disciplines including propulsion, structures, electrical, engines, and trajectory and performance.

  • Input requirements, verification, and design information into TeamCenter.

  • Utilize excellent communication skills (verbal and written, including group presentations).

  • Have experience working independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

Using knowledge of ULA-specific design engineering processes and documentation, complete integrated launch vehicle engineering tasks to support design review completion.

  • With knowledge of ULA-specific design processes, may serve as systems engineering leader to mentor additional systems engineers in ULA processes.

  • Experience using TeamCenter.

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
