  • The Engineering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing engineering to meet company objectives. The Manager will lead and supervise the staff in Product Engineering, Sales Engineering, CAD System Design, Project Management, Process Engineering, and Technical Sales Support and oversee an overall staff of approximately 40 that includes managers, engineers, technicians, designers, and developers.

  • Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports.

  • Review, approve, or modify product designs.

  • Continually improve collaboration between engineering, sales, and operations to build internal relationships and service level agreements to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Work with customers and sales to solve problems and develop new products, creating a higher value proposition and securing new business.

  • Work with operations and quality manager, reviews and monitors quality and process improvements and new product development.

  • Work with sales and operations to develop lower cost designs to support new pricing and business decisions.

  • Lead containment, problem solving, and corrective action activities to ensure the customer is protected as much as possible, as well as implementation of subsequent preventative measures.


  • Manufacturing experience

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Manufacturing Engineering (including M&I flow, Standard Operations, plant layout, waste elimination, continuous improvement, engineering change control)

  • Communication, influencing, negotiating and assertiveness

  • Decision making, sound business judgment

  • Demonstrate Lean Manufacturing experience

  • Quality management / delivering Customer requirements

  • Project management

  • Report writing & presentation skills

Educational Requirements:

  • Position requires B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Electrical) or equivalent. P.E. or Advanced Degree is a plus.

  • Minimum 5 - 10 years’ engineering experience working with engineered products/components.


  • Must be able to work days or nights on rotating shifts and every other weekend
