The General Sales Managers primary focus is to work closely with the Executive Team and the New Home Advisors to achieve the sales and closing goals, while providing a positive, unique, and memorable customer experience. The ideal candidate will accomplish this by executing on effective leadership strategies, hands-on coaching, community performance analysis, and participating in the regional real estate community.
Responsibilities include sales team training, follow up coaching, new hire orientation, and mentorship regarding sales techniques, construction knowledge and professional growth to continuously improve team expertise and effectiveness. The General Sales Manager will collaborate with New Home Advisors to effectively manage sales backlog and implement backlog retention strategies. Ensuring that New Home Advisors are adhering to the prescribed paperwork process and cut-off dates in the contract cycle while maintaining consistent and proactive communication with Community backlog to ensure construction process efficiency and accountability.

Job Skills Required
5+ years of New Home Building Sales experience required.
3+ years of demonstrated progression in a Sales Management role required with a strong emphasis on coaching and training.
Excellent verbal and written communication. Must be able to communicate clear performance expectations and desired results, monitor performance and outcomes while providing ongoing feedback to the sales team.
Ability to develop, maintain and measure sales strategies.
Expert ability in multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast paced, team focused environment.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office programs, CRM (Sales Force) and DocuSign.
Knowledge of “Jeff Shore 4:2 Sales Process” with the ability to collaborate, mentor, and coach the sales teams in consistent application of the process.
College degree a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to focus on issues that adversely impact financial results and provide solutions.
