Job Description Summary:

The Senior Marketing Communication Specialist is a highly creative and talented team player who is responsible for managing the development and execution of marketing assets and programs to support Option Care in positioning and selling various national programs and initiatives. This position will lead or support planning, developing and implementing marketing and communications that differentiate Option Care among key stakeholders, including business decision-makers, key influencers, consumers and thought leaders. Understanding complex business needs and aligning marketing strategies to overall project goals is critical for success.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

  • Support copywriting (some promotional writing skills required) and creative direction for various marketing deliverables (e.g., presentations, collateral, and digital content).

  • Develop and/or implement marketing strategies, plans and tactics for a variety of Option Care national programs

  • Ensuring content is fresh on our Sales Support Toolkit, e.g., either soliciting new content and/or developing it, posting content and tracking quantifiable results

  • Respond to a variety of ad hoc internal- and Plan requests in a timely and professional manner, including taking a leadership role in tracking work and results for reporting

  • Coordinate with Marketing team members or cross-functional stakeholders to develop new integrated marketing campaigns, templates and associated landing pages.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot the Option Care website and digital presence. Provide routine updates and content support for existing company website(s)

  • Coordinate the review of Marketing assets, maintaining records of edits and approvals

  • Assists Marketing team members in coordinating production of materials with outside agencies as needed

  • Participate in brainstorming for larger scale, team-based projects

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of five years marketing/communications planning and implementation preferably in Healthcare

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, New Media or related field; or equivalent experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience writing for a variety of communication vehicles including websites, multimedia, and print and online collateral; and market-facing communications

  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat Professional

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office for internal and external communications (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook)

  • Ability to master software easily

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

  • Relevant industry experience is a plus, including experience in marketing/sales support at healthcare provider, health insurance company, consultancy, or similar experience in a related industry

  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives)

  • Experience understanding customer needs/priorities and skills to use that insight to develop innovative and effective marketing programs that generate sales

  • Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences
