Key activities include developing and releasing transmission calibrations (shift quality calibrations) for automatic transmission applications, performing hands-on in-vehicle calibration development work, supporting test trips to verify proper transmission operation across operating conditions and other assigned powertrain development activities. The Engineer will work with in-vehicle test instrumentation, ETAS-INCA calibration tools and mathematical analysis tools such as MS-Excel macros and Matlab to meet objectives.Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Discipline•Minimum five (5) years prior Automotive Experience•Excellent written and Oral communication skills•MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Product Proficiency•Desire to perform in-vehicle test and development work in addition to analysis “desk” work Preferred Qualifications:•Prior calibration experience (University SAE experience is acceptable)•Matlab/Simulink ExperienceOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
