Cherokee Town and Country Club Swim & Fitness Operations Manager in Atlanta, Georgia
Job Summary: Responsible for day-to-day operation and overall condition of Swim & Fitness facilities including Town Club Fitness Center/Pools/member Locker Rooms and Country Club Fitness Center and Pools.
Recruits, hires, trains, schedules and evaluates performance of Swim & Fitness staff.
Develops and updates operating protocols, procedures and checklists for areas listed above.
Inspects Swim & Fitness equipment and facilities and takes immediate corrective action in order to ensure facilities are maintained up to Cherokee Standard at all times.
Responsible for fitness desk operations including accurate appointment-booking, POS transactions and timely reconciliation of discrepancies for all Swim & Fitness paid member services.
Responsible for accurate and timely completion of all applicable daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Responsible for day-to-day implementation of Club rules, policies, safety and security protocols in Swim & Fitness areas.
Responsible for completion of supporting procedures for weekly payroll processing.
Manages inventory and coordinates requisition, purchase, delivery and storage of Swim & Fitness supplies and merchandise.
Responsible for member services including personal laundry, locker rentals, towels and toiletries, shoe shining and food & beverage.
Maintains first-aid kits supply at both Club locations and is responsible for departmental safety training, safety procedures and recordkeeping.
Maintains regular and effective communication with staff, members and other managers.
Provides shift or meal break coverage for positions listed below if required.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Family, Swim & Fitness.
Director of Family, Swim & Fitness
A minimum of 3 years’ experience with management responsibilities directly related to aquatic/fitness/locker room facilities and operations.
Current CPO certification.
