AbleVets Change Management PMO Analyst in Arlington, Virginia

AbleVets, LLC is a fast-growing Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing healthcare information technology services and resources to help the VA and DoD improve the lives of the people they serve. AbleVets has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated Change Management PMO Analyst to support our customer. This position is located at our Arlington, Virginia office.

Perform day-to-day change and project management of PMO processes including deliverable management, status report management, event management and interdependencies that are embedded across the project. The position will be aligned to a project functional delivery lead to support Change Management activities and workstreams. Change Management is the practice of managing critical activities that need to occur within hospital systems to effectuate the change and transition to a new electronic health record solution. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Play an integral part of a high functioning cross-functional team dedicated to successful adoption of an Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Program

  • Coordinate team meetings and prepare reports as required

  • Create and track project plans and create integrated priority lists

  • Create meeting minutes and capture assigned tasks and action items

  • Represent workstream in PMO working sessions, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), risk and action item reviews, etc.

  • Draft deliverable content (inputs to status reports, updates to strategy documents, etc.)

  • Ability to be in constant sync with relevant lead(s) and project teams performing the change management processes on the project level

  • Ability to communicate and facilitate team meetings when necessary

  • Facilitate the functional team processes and liaise across programs

  • Flexible to meet the needs of the functional workstream

  • Ensure that work products are completed on schedule, including all required inputs from workstream leads throughout the processes

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or health science discipline with eight (8) years related change management and project management experience. Six additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

  • Must possess background in healthcare IT or healthcare consulting

  • Familiarity with hospital information systems

  • Previous experience influencing decision making through value-based change management principles and metrics

  • Must be detail-oriented and ensure polished and customer-ready deliverables

  • Self-starter that can work under general direction in a highly collaborative, team-based environment

  • High degree of Microsoft Office Proficiency (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint)

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Periodic travel to Kansas City, MO or other sites is required

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred/Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Change Management

  • Previous Government contracting work experience
