Are you a graduate student majoring in rehabilitation counseling, rehabilitation education, or rehabilitation administration? Consider becoming a Vocational Rehabilitation Intern for the PA Department of Labor and Industry!

•Full-time employment

•Must be willing to travel. Travel expenses will be paid

In order to be eligible for this position you must:

Work Schedule:

8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - One hour lunch

Monday - Friday

Work hours are negotiable based on operational need.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports .

• You must pass a background investigation


You will receive professional training in the areas of federal law and regulation concerning vocational rehabilitation services, state policy and procedure, and counseling and case management. If you successfully complete the internship and obtain your graduate degree, you will be promoted to Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with an increase in salary!
