Stantec Interior Designers - Junior or Intermediate - Healthcare and General Practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Our office in Winnipeg, MB has an immediate need for two Junior/Intermediate Interior Designers - one for our Healthcare Sector and the other for our general practice.

Your Duties:

In this role you will:

  • Provide interior design expertise in a variety of project types with primary focus in healthcare.

  • Advocate for design excellence

  • Complete work efficiently and in a timely fashion

  • Understand a variety of project delivery models

  • Coordinate within multidisciplinary project teams

  • Assist in the preparation of deliverables at all project phases

  • Support Contract Administrators during the construction phase

  • Support good policies on project delivery, quality control, and safety

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

  • Healthcare Interior Design experience an asset for one role; general practice experience in such sectors as commercial or institutional projects for the other role

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Masters Interior Design Degree or an Accredited Interior Design Program

  • Registration, or the eligibility to register with theProfessional Interior Designers Institute of Manitoba(PIDIM)

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and workflows, and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently as well as manage a diverse team of staff and consultants

  • Strong interpersonal skills:Good coordinator, communicator, and collaborator

  • Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, rendering and image editing is an asset

  • Understand the Building Code

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Inventive in the pursuit of excellence
