Our office in Winnipeg, MB has an immediate need for two Junior/Intermediate Interior Designers - one for our Healthcare Sector and the other for our general practice.
In this role you will:
Provide interior design expertise in a variety of project types with primary focus in healthcare.
Advocate for design excellence
Complete work efficiently and in a timely fashion
Understand a variety of project delivery models
Coordinate within multidisciplinary project teams
Assist in the preparation of deliverables at all project phases
Support Contract Administrators during the construction phase
Support good policies on project delivery, quality control, and safety
Your Capabilities and Credentials:
Healthcare Interior Design experience an asset for one role; general practice experience in such sectors as commercial or institutional projects for the other role
Bachelor’s Degree or Masters Interior Design Degree or an Accredited Interior Design Program
Registration, or the eligibility to register with theProfessional Interior Designers Institute of Manitoba(PIDIM)
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and workflows, and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently as well as manage a diverse team of staff and consultants
Strong interpersonal skills:Good coordinator, communicator, and collaborator
Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, rendering and image editing is an asset
Understand the Building Code
Excellent written and verbal communication
Inventive in the pursuit of excellence
