Basic qualifications:Degree in Education, Training or related discipline, or degree in science

Minimum 5 years professional experience in a technical area, with proven expertise to identify business needs in training and learning to support our manufacturing operations

Knowledge of adult learning andragogy in implementation & facilitation of technical, operational and/or specialty training events and programs

Experience in designing training programs, developing curricula, conducting instructional teaching in a technical domain

Designing, developing & writing content and evaluating elearning, job aids, video or webinars

Effective communication skills required to consult and collaborate from leadership to operator level

Preferred qualifications:WSQ ACTA certification/Diploma in Adult & Continuing Education (DACE)

As the Training & Learning Expert, you will play a critical role in enhancing both product and process knowledge across our manufacturing operations teams at Tuas. You role will be to deliver group and individual instructional training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas. With a technical background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, you will bring expertise in developing training curricula.

You will be responsible to create, maintain and implement learning approaches for the content development in technical knowledge package in areas of product, process and its assessment standards. In collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), you'll formulate technical training materials in different domains of competency linked to the site manufacturing activities based on 10/20/70 learning principles to meet the business needs.

This role is key in ensuring knowledge dissemination and retention and its sustainability through multi-skills development of people in technical areas and will lead to become a multi-skilled SME in various technical areas.

Key responsibilities;

Create : evaluate needs, identify audience, develop innovative 10/20/70 learning approaches & content, identify providers if necessary.

  • Identifying and assessing future and current training needs

  • Design and prepare educational aids and training materials with SMEs

  • Creating documentation based upon technical processes and procedures generated from interviews with the SMES/Technical teams.

Implement : deliver training sessions, coach its application on the floor.

  • Provide & facilitate classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.

  • Conduct training performance evaluations.

-Maintain training material (OJT’s, and other)

Build capabilities among the trainer communities (line management, SME’s)
