Content Advisor - Tax

Position Summary:

This role

serves as an internal knowledge management professional who will work as part

of the Global Tax Content Sourcing and Optimization team to manage and drive

the coordination and execution of Tax content priorities. This role will report

to the Global Tax Portfolio Content Lead and will assist execution of content

priorities supporting the Tax knowledge program portfolio identified with

practice and EY Knowledge leadership. Activities include content gap analyses,

focused content collection activities, aged content management, content metrics

development and analysis. The Tax Content Advisor will manage many facets of

the content projects, and will develop and maintain appropriate relationships

with content stakeholders from the Global Tax service line as well as within EY

Knowledge.



Qualifications:

Essential Functions of the Job:

· Managing content projects for Global Tax, defined by practice and EY Knowledge leadership; Evolving projects and activities over time in light of priorities and EY strategy, focusing on both strategy and execution elements as need

· Needs assessment and gap analysis - designing and managing processes to understand the Global Tax content landscape and needs of the practice; Assessing potential gaps and providing recommendations

· Content harvesting - driving and managing collection campaigns to accelerate sharing of leading practices and experiences of Tax professionals globally, in support of growth and quality service delivery across sub-service lines; Teaming with industry sector and account EY Knowledge colleagues to advance these priorities

· Content management - managing processes for identifying and archiving aged and/or irrelevant content from Tax and EY knowledge sharing resources

· Analytics – Developing, monitoring and analyzing content analytics to assess quality, value, volume, and findability of Tax content in EY and practice platforms; Assist communicating analytics/trends to audiences at a variety of levels

· Be accountable for collaborating with and influencing key stakeholders and achieving results across functional groups and global network

· Successfully prioritize competing challenges, manage multiple projects and stakeholders with varying perspectives simultaneously

· Take initiative and be proactive in a fast-paced and highly challenging environment

· Quickly define and solve problems; escalate issues as appropriate to achieve success

· Be adept at managing conflict toward resolution


Requirements:

· 5-7 years of relevant working experience in a knowledge or content management, market research & analysis or business development/strategy areas

· Fluent English is a must

· German or French language capabilities preferred

· Experience in successfully implementing complex projects; solving problems of medium complexity

· Advanced skills in SharePoint are very helpful, Word & PowerPoint are a must while Excel is nice-to-have

· Expected to self-direct projects; Ability to work independently and across geographies as part of a wider project team

· Strong networking and relationship-building skills

· Demonstrating executive presence and ability to interface with key stakeholders across levels/ranks

· Strong project management and coordination abilities

· Willingness to learn new technologies and be innovative in applying to knowledge solutions

· Knowledge in Tax related discipline e.g., Indirect Tax, International Tax or VAT/GST is nice to have
