As the Project Development Manager for our Infrastructure projects, you will posses strong leadership and excellent project management skills.
You will have broad experience in working on a variety of infrastructure projects and a desire to play a leading role on cutting edge infrastructure projects.
In this role you could be working with Joint Venture Partners or on Alliance style Projects, which will require exceptional stakeholder management skills combined with well-developed commercial skills you have acquired throughout your career in project delivery.
The role is focused more at the front end undertaking feasibility studies, gaining acceptance from clients or government for the concepts your team has developed.
It will also involve the development of Business Cases for major infrastructure works to achieve stated objectives and obtain governance approvals
Lead a multi-disciplinary team to develop project Business Cases to meet stated objectives and within agreed timeframes and budget
Lead planning and design services to identify project options, analyse options and select the preferred option
Develop project Scope and Requirements Brief and obtain key stakeholder agreement
Lead the identification of project planning approvals, develop submissions and obtain planning approvals
Undertake studies and investigations to inform the Business Case and planning approvals
Identify commercial development opportunities, which could provide benefit and could be integrated with the infrastructure development, and develop procurement strategy plan
Undertake consultation with key stakeholder and community to inform and influence project acceptance
Obtain approval for the project Business case
Communicate regularly with Government, key stakeholders and Partners to meet expectations
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Significant experience in design and delivery of large infrastructure projects in road, rail or water sector
Solid experience in contract management and specifications
Demonstrated commercial skills, including understanding of the key drivers of projects
Major project management experience
Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
