Join our Procurement team and you will help provide EY strategic purchasing solutions on materials, supplies, services and contracts with the highest level of quality and the best cost. This includes the real estate, travel, technology and external content categories.



Qualifications:

The Procurement Officer works in collaboration with a global procurement organization and the North American procurement team. The Procurement Officer collaborates locally with RDO's and Functional leaders/stakeholers to provide indirect cost savings, compliance and reduced risks associated with procurement. The Procurement Officer is to focus on, cost savings/reporting, supplier care/performance, performance measurements and implementing best practices in all sourcing functions. The Procurement Officer works with internal customers as well as external suppliers, locally, nationally and globally. The priority of this position is to continually improve the cost effectiveness of procurement projects, processes and relations.

The role of the Supervising Associate - Procurement Services, is to individually manage the procurement of products & services with project spend up to $250K. This role will support the North America Products & Services procurement team in the categories of Talent, Brand Marketing & Communications (BMC), Enterprise Support Services (ESS) and Professional Services, at an agreed set of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators. The role will work closely with the Procurement Operations leader and the Regional Category leaders and also participate in negotiations giving desired levels of cost savings and operational excellence.

The role holder will be expected to form lasting relationships with leaders and other key stakeholders/ clients to drive the development of the procurement organization.

• Procurement of products & services for the ESS (Facilities) and Professional Services Category

• Using measuring tools & criteria for supplier optimization

• Developing and executing RFx documents

• Consolidating & reviewing reports for all purchasing projects

• Researching suppliers and market reviews, liaise with suppliers, internal clients and key internal functional teams in support of sourcing projects

• Managing supplier contracts & reviews of contracts

• Review supplier viability using research and knowledge tools

• Managing escalations & service level agreements

• Focusing and reporting and filing independence and risk concerns

• Reviewing internal customers for feedback and proactively improve customers experience

• Suggesting corrective action and areas of opportunity with suppliers/customers

• Summarizing information and developing clear recommendations

• Assisting team members and sharing knowledge

 Strict adherence to the procurement policy set by the CPO

 Ensure value targets are met and ensure quality of service is not compromised

 Ensure follow-ups are made to have approvals on time

 Maintain highest levels of integrity and honest procurement process

 Continually challenge existing ways of working. Identify and develop new opportunities for standardization and consistency in service delivery

 Support the implementation of SAP (Mercury), and build a process based service delivery organization to support

customer requirements

 Engage and create meaningful and productive business relationships with clients and stakeholders

 Work under the direction on the sourcing managers and provide high quality support as requested

Generally the Procurement Officer performs all the steps of the EY procurement process on their own. They will determin the best procurement strategy to deliver results. The Procurement Officer shares through presentations the recommendations and anticipated outcomes of the projects to the Procurement Leaders where guidance, decisions or escalations are provided.

Analytical Skills: Work with multiple Suppliers to determine the best deals for EY, and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors. Strong Working knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data.

Decision-Making Skills: Need to use the information gathered by themselves and others to make decisions on behalf of EY.

Negotiating Skills / Influencing Skills: Strong skills required for negotiations with suppliers as well as influencing internal stakeholders. Demonstrate proven influencing and negotiating skills to deliver value return.

Prioritize and manage the implementation of multiple initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.

In depth working experience of products & services procurement

Proven working experience of a Shared Services Centre operations and/or BPO operations

Proficiency within a procurement or a procurement related speciality

Proficiency in standard workplace technology, e.g. Microsoft office

Experience using SAP Procurement Tools a definite asset

Minimum 5 years in a services procurement enviroment with a large organizaiton, either a partnership or multi-national corporation.

Studying or has obtained CPSM/APICS certification preferred
