/Exciting job opportunity at TCF Inventory Finance - Documentation Specialist/
The Documentation Specialist is responsible for preparing legal documentation for their assigned product lines, filing UCCs, reading UCC searches and sending PMSI notification letters. This position performs internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance, relating to legal policy and procedures. In addition, the Documentation Specialist enters customer information in the inventory finance system.
/ Major Areas of Accountability /
Accurately prepare transactional documents specific to credit approval requirements in a timely manner and prepare customer notifications letters to ensure compliance requirements are satisfied.
Review and accept executed customer documentation packages. Confirm all items needed for account activation are documented and completed.
File UCCs, review and analyze UCC searches, complete UCC Checklists, send PMSI notification letters and track delivery receipts to ensure PMSI notifications are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Complete internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance relating to risk/legal policy and procedures.
Perform other projects and initiatives, as required, in order to enhance the effectiveness of the Documentation Team and contribute to continuing improvement of overall company performance.
/ Minimum Qualifications /
- A High School diploma or equivalent
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Salesforce experience preferred
2-3 years of experience in a documentation or customer service related role
Strong ability to multi-task and produce high quality work product; accuracy a must
Strong PC skills
Demonstrated analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work and communicate well with other TCF Inventory Finance departments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving and analysis
Ability to effectively work in a team environment
