The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for leading Latin America & Caribbean point of sale efforts with global and multi-national corporate accounts that are represented in more than one LAC country.

JOB SUMMARY :

  • Position focuses on maximizing premium revenue and market share and generates actionable plans on multiple points of sale.

  • A Global or Multi-National account is defined as one with a minimum of $75K annual JV revenue and at minimum two Latin America & Caribbean originating POS contractual components.

  • Select Global AF/KL/AM/G3 contracts and certain local accounts with opportunity to expand points of sales globally will also be included in portfolio.

  • Primary position objective includes setting the account strategy for the region and successful portfolio performance exit Latin as measured by corporate performance tools.

  • Other responsibilities include customer relationship management, contract negotiation, and contract implementation.

  • Very tight coordination with U.S. point-of-sale MNA and Global Account Managers is essential.

  • Position performs detailed analysis of Prism and MIDT data to determine optimal programs and goals.

  • Provides guidance to local country teams and international based alliance and JV partners as needed.

  • Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.

  • RAM is responsible for working closely with Sales Development, Revenue Management, Sales Operations, Market Development and Sales Support Center.

  • Mine opportunities to close the gap for incremental revenue.

  • Position may take on additional ad hoc regional sales projects.

  • Position will be the "go to" resource for the region as the subject matter expert for joint selling, contracting and global performance.

  • Position will involve significant international travel up to 50-60% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience and 5 years of industry experience.

  • Current Passenger Sales experience required.

  • Strong negotiating/analytical skills; planning/organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Portuguese are required.

  • Must be eligible and in possession of current valid documentation to live/work in Brazil.

  • Must have a strong professional demeanor, be able to work under pressure, meet short deadlines, balance multiple and rapidly shifting priorities with little direct supervision.
