Job Summary

Apple’s Real Estate, Legal & Security Systems team is an exciting new IS&T team, focused on providing high quality, innovative in house developed and off the shelf delivery of technology solutions to support and enhance the RE&D and Legal/Security organizations business needs.

Our Legal solutions help Apple’s patents, litigation, compliance, security and other legal groups produce and safeguard Apple’s Intellectual property. Our real Estate solutions allow enable Apple's Corporate office environment to be one of the best places to work in the world.

As a Program Manager this role will be responsible for managing overall project portfolio with a key intent of improving the organizations performance.

The Program manager would drive consistency in communications, documentation, change management and release management and provide project

Key Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of program/project management.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization.

  • Outstanding documentations skills.

  • Naturally accountable and responsible.

  • Able to lead multiple projects at any given time working across many teams.

  • Self-starter, self-motivated, self-directed, self-sufficient.

  • Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings).

  • Strong Influencer and Team Player.

  • Strong Keynote, Excel, Central Station, Radar and ConnectMe (Internal Collaboration tool) skills desired.Description

  • Set Standards for how projects are run.

  • Ensure Project Management standards are followed.

  • Develop and implement consistent tools and technology in support of these standards.

  • Gather project data and production information for management review.

  • Source of guidance for project managers.

  • Risk and Issue Management

  • Financial Management

  • Facilitation of Steering Committees, Quarterly Business and Vendor Reviews

The project Manager would also be responsible for managing the annual PPM and Capital Planning Process - Capturing project requests and ensuring each request has sufficient information to assess the project. Working with the business operations team to implement scoring and prioritization models to help access which request should be approved and funded.

This is at times a hands-on position where the Program Manager will be involved in requirement analysis, functional and technical discussions, testing, proof-of-concepting, working with vendors, and more. You will be responsible for the successful outcomes and delivery.


B.S. or equivalent degree.
