AbbVie Brand Manager in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Purpose Responsible for developing/executing the Brand Plan, Marketing Strategy and Promotion of the assigned franchise.

Responsibilities * Build a comprehensive Strategic Brand Plan, through NNLRP/Brand Team process, to be executed in the following year. Brand Plan should include short and long-term (five-year) strategies for the success of the business. Understand role of functions and their interaction within Brand Team. Act as Brand Team leader. Time management is key for proper execution (prioritizes among projects). * Develop the financial plans and presentations during the updates and plan periods of the year. Use strategies and market driver information gathered through the year to forecast future sales and demonstrate to the organization that there is a clear understanding of the current business situation and where the business is heading. * Responsible for managing and executing advertising and promotion programs and projects to effectively support commercialization, profit margin and business plan objectives for assigned product(s). * Additional responsibilities include business analysis, financial analysis, budget tracking, project management and communicating brand promotion programs to Field Sales. * Design and execute advertising and promotion plans; Develop and maintain marketing and sales aid / promotional materials for Field Sales to effectively promote and sell the product. * Manage and coordinate internal marketing research and data analysis. * Understand Med/Reg approving process (ePass). Responsible, as Project Owner, for step reviews and materials submission in order to obtain final approval. Work in conjunction with ad agency in materials submission in ePass. * Maintain and develop in-depth customer insight to anticipate stakeholder needs. Understand product, therapeutic area. * Plan and execute Speaker Programs (or other Marketing Programs) in compliance with corporate policies. * Exhibit the effective personal use of AbbVie leadership competences and manage business with integrity and in accordance with regulations, Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct and corporate policies.

* Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, Marketing, Business or related field. MBA preferred. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, including presentations. * Proven strategic and innovative thinking. * Good follow up, ability to listen and respond in a timely manner. * Leadership, communications skills and team player. * Three (3) to Five (5) years experience in Marketing, Sales and/or Commercial area with pharmaceutical products. * Experience in working with cross-functional teams. * Experience using MS Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) * Experience in a Commercial Environment.
