As our Product Manager at ed2go, you will have a deep understanding first and foremost of our learners to ensure our products engage and help them, but will also understand the needs of the ecosystem – instructors, institutions, corporations, governments, associations – and make appropriate trade-offs. You will help drive both the go-to-market teams to market and sell our products and our development teams to get the products built on time and on quality.

You will work from either our San Francisco or Temecula offices.


  • Evangelize for ed2go within Cengage Learning, as well as within the marketplace by working closely with our Sales teams and customers.

  • Manage and execute on the ed2go platform roadmap in close collaboration with product teams on designing, building, and enhancing products delivered at ed2go, including leading regular standup meetings, iteration planning, and iterations reviews.

  • Develop story maps, detailed user stories, and other requirements artifacts to support the development process.

  • Successfully deliver and deploy projects within the established timelines, and ensure that all go-to-market activities are executed according to plan including sales-enablement training, release communications, and product documentation.

  • Provide the Product, Technology, Sales and Marketing organizations with visibility into the backlog of platform projects and incremental enhancements.

  • Cultivate effective relationships with Product Managers and Software Development Managers to understand, influence and coordinate on projects related to your platform product.


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years’ successful and relevant experience in technology product management, sales or marketing.

  • 2+ years’ platform product management experience for end-user SaaS products, preferably in e-learning

  • Outstanding influencing abilities, and proven effectiveness in presenting ideas and plans clearly and confidently to all levels of management and customers

  • Strong collaboration and leadership, along with customer service acumen, analytical and problem-solving mindset

  • Experience and expertise in digital learning products or comparable.

  • In-depth familiarity with Agile methodologies, development and release practices, and the ability to manage multiple projects during the same time period effectively

  • Technical background with experience in the use of (OER) Open Education Resources, Content Rights Management, and/or Instructional Design preferred
