SUMMARY

Provides hands-on leadership to hourly employees to assist them in completing their job duties in ARAMARK venue services in an area, location or building. Spends 80% of time actually performing hands-on work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains friendly, efficient, spirit-of-service attitude toward customers, co-workers, and clients.

  • Responsible for overall supervision of trash removal functions for the entire stadium area. Supervises the trash crew to work efficiently and complete work within the allotted time frame.

  • Ensures that all trash cans are emptied, relined and properly placed.

  • Occasionally supervises and trains temporary employees that will be filling in for absent trash crew members.

  • Consults with supervisor or manager on daily production planning and assists with distribution of work assignments.

  • Operates the trash compactor and cardboard baler as needed.

  • Ensures that all equipment and supplies are put away when shift is over.

  • Actively promotes and enforces established safety policies.

  • Executes appropriate coaching and corrective action in accordance with ARAMARK employee conduct guidelines.

  • Instructs and trains subordinates.

  • Adheres to all departmental cleaning procedures.

  • Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations.

  • Maintains compliance with ARAMARK’s standards of operation, client contracts and within ARAMARK’s Business Conduct Policy. Maintains all records and reports necessary to comply with ARAMARK, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes.

  • Maintains compliance with all requirements of federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended.

  • Performs all other related duties.

Must have a current and valid driver’s license issued by the state government of the US.

Work Hours: Overnight shift/ Post event.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must be physically able to lift, lower, push and pull objects up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

  • Ability to stand, climb, bend, stoop and crouch for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to initiate and maintain good customer and co-worker relationships in a team environment.

  • Must have the ability to follow oral or written instructions and directions.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both written and verbal skills.

  • Bi-lingual preferred (English and Spanish).

  • Must have the ability to supervise others, demonstrate "quality customer service", and good human relations skills.

  • Pays special attention to detail.
