This position is located at the Program Executive Office, Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) in San Diego, California. As a Technical Specialist you are responsible for managing program acquisition processes, execution of cost, schedule and performance for program(s) and projects.
Prepare program budgets estimates, develop work breakdown structures, build program schedules, manage, risks perform contract planning and coordinate post-award activities.
Develop design, integration, test and evaluation, acquisition and contract strategies, contract management , cost estimation, schedule production, installation, training, operational support, sustainment, modernization, and disposal.
Coordinate preparation of program acquisition/integration documentation.
Communicate program information across the PEO and other relevant organizations to facilitate leveraging opportunities.

- Travel is dependent upon position description and availability of funding. The position may require to travel 10% monthly away from the duty location.

This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience. This position has been identified as a Career Field Program Management at Level II.
