The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician to assist in the medical diagnosis and or treatment of illness and or injury. MRI Techs help to ensure a positive patient experience and truly make a difference to those they serve. Position is responsible for performing medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician to assist in the medical diagnosis and or treatment of illness and or injury.

Shift Details: This position will work variable shifts at LDS Hospital. Shifts may include days or evenings. This position includes a call requirement and will be included in a holiday rotation.
Department: LDS Hospital MRI
Additional Details: This position will be based at and will work out of LDS Hospital but is also part of a regional team. As such, employees may be required to work shifts in MRI at any of the other Central Region hospitals. In addition to LDS Hospital, this position will also work at: Intermountain Medical Center, Riverton Hospital, Alta View Hospital, and TOSH depending on department need.
- Current Radiology Technologist license in the state of Utah in order to administer RX
- This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .
- ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist
- One year of experience in MRI
- Carrying, Hearing/listening, Lifting, Manual dexterity, Pulling/pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking
- MR registered by ARRT
