The mission of The Brokerage Operations Business Management Group is to align resources to deliver service, efficiency, quality and scalability in a multi-channel sales environment. As the firm continues to implement strategies to affirm a positive client experience, the operational processes must demonstrate adherence to heightened client demands and increased volume. To this end, we are adding a Business Initiatives Consultant 2 reporting directly to the Group Leader of Operations Business Management.

The Business Initiatives Consultant 2 role will partner directly with Brokerage Operations senior leadership and Finance to standardize, socialize and direct efforts to related to business case development. They will lead in key areas such as Brokerage Operations automation and strategic prioritization efforts. They will further support necessary improvements to meet client and channel demands by developing business cases for funding and coordination with the Wells Fargo Advisors Roadmap.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Support the Brokerage Operations automation strategy and lead projects to implement efficient process improvements.

  • Partner with Finance on Operations cost and volume drivers to ensure they are incorporated into our business automation priorities.

  • Partner with the Joint Roadmap team and technology partners to facilitate prioritization of third party work requests based on documented business benefits and strategy impacts.

  • Establish and administer a Thomson Reuters work contract approval…

  • Support alignment on strategic gap analysis and planning, formulated in the Roadmap Governance and Target Operating Model vision.

  • Lead implementation of the channel partnership program and outreach initiatives

  • Maintain Business Operations Sharepoint site to ensure reporting and materials are current and up to date.

  • Develop ad hoc presentations as requested to support partnership and industry meetings. This will be performed in Powerpoint and leverage a common Wells Fargo iconography standards.

  • Connect Brokerage Operations demand and capacity information into an actionable set of projects.

  • Collaborate with partner programs – such as Complaints, Excellence First and Voice of the Client – to provide qualitative as well as quantitative service level reporting.

  • Represent Operations in firm-wide and enterprise initiatives that impact operational demands – such as the One Wells Fargo as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • 2+ years of consultative business analysis experience

  • 2+ years of strategic planning and development experience
