WellStar Health System, Marietta, GA, is seeking a motivated and experienced (5 - 10 years) board certified General Thoracic Surgeon to join the division of General Thoracic Surgery. Candidates are expected to have completed a Fellowship in a General Thoracic Surgery Tract and Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. The ideal candidate should be skilled in minimally invasive VATS and robotic surgery for both malignant and benign thoracic diseases including the full spectrum of pulmonary and esophageal diseases.

Candidate should also be skilled in minimally invasive esophagectomy, POEM and EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection).

The candidate will join a well-established, busy and experienced team of thoracic surgeons in the WellStar Health System performing over 1500 cases annually.

The candidate is expected to take an active role in program development in the main campus and in the surrounding network hospitals.
