JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is one component of the oil that keeps the Field Service engine running smooth. It is for the self-driven and project-oriented of you out there.

You will use analytics, automation, and publishing to capture savings for a field of over 1,000 active technicians. You will make sense of millions of data points, highlight trends, and develop solutions for your team. You will meet with representatives of multiple departments such as: Supply Chain, Customer Care, Billing, Innovation, etc. With them you will integrate and implement your cost-savings initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate, develop, and implement cost saving strategies for Field Service

  • Perform analysis of Field Service operations and inventory history

  • Formulate forecast models based on historical data and demand projections

  • Publish dashboards of metrics, reports, forecasts, solutions, etc.

  • Automate periodic reports, tools, and communications

  • Effectively report trends and upcoming issues to pertinent parties

  • Work across multiple teams to assist in their optimization strategies

  • Identify market, vendor, and internal solutions to operational issues

  • Assist in resolving logistical challenges as they arrive

  • Attend industry related conferences and communicate findings

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Mastery of Excel (Power Pivots, Power Query, VBA, Formulas, Solver, etc.)

  • Intermediate in SQL (Joins, Cases, Optimization, etc.)

  • Experience with Tableau Desktop (Dashboards, Story Boards, Publishing)

  • Knowledge of statistics (Regression, Distribution, Deviation, Z-Score, etc.)

  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Logistics (Lead Time, FIFO, Service Levels, etc.)

  • Self-motivated to handle long-term projects across multiple teams

  • Background with R, Python, HTML, or SAP are all plusses

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

  • Reports to Sr. Manager of Field Service Logistics
