The Global Program Management (GPM) role is to manage and drive the development and execution of high quality, realistic, cross-functional, global strategic plans for Sun Pharma’s pipeline development efforts, to apply project management best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing of projects, and to perform staffing functions for the Project Management (PM) group.

Responsibilities will include leading and managing the Launch Readiness operational activities, including developing and maintaining high performing teams, ensuring alignment between project and program strategies and plans, generating high quality global strategic integrated project plans, risk management and communication plans.

In addition, driving adherence to the Sun Pharma development and governance processes, including delivery of timely and quality deliverables, management of partnerships, cross-functional resource, financial and capacity assessments. Management of due diligence processes including maintenance of due diligence room and partnering with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 4 years of directly related experience


Master’s degree and 8 years of directly related experience


Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of directly related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree and broad global experience within all phases of drug development and commercialization for both biologics and small molecules, to include outcomes studies and pediatric investigational plans.

Preclinical and Phase I/II/III/IV expertise, and 5 years experience in managing and/or leading cross-functional drug development teams.

Staff management and staff development experience.

Drug development knowledge with advanced understanding of other functions including, but not limited to, Research, Pre-Clinical, Clinical, Manufacturing and Operations, Commercial, Regulatory, Safety and Payer.
